From Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA), there are several transportation options to get to Grand Rohan Yogyakarta:

  1. Taxi or Ride-Hailing Services (Grab/GoCar). The most convenient option is taking a taxi or using ride-hailing services like Grab or GoCar. The journey takes around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions, and will bring you directly to Grand Rohan Hotel.

  2. Private Car Rental. If you prefer more flexibility, you can rent a car from the airport. This option allows you to travel at your own pace and explore the city along the way.

  3. Public Transportation. You can use the Yogyakarta Airport Train (Kereta Bandara) to get to the city, but it does not go directly to the venue. From Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA), you can take the airport train to Tugu Station in the city center. The journey takes around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Tugu Station, you will need to continue your trip to Grand Rohan Hotel, which is about 6 – 7 kilometers away from Tugu Station. You can take a taxi, ride-hailing service (like Grab or GoCar), or local transportation (such as an angkot or public busway) to get there.

Referring to the transportation department website, you can take line 1A from Yogyakarta Train Station to Jogja Expo Center where the Grand Rohan Hotel is located in front of it.
